The Story.
In 1876, settlers raised a flagstaff on a hill to mark a place in the wilderness…something visible, something that pointed the way.
Throughout Scripture, God raises signs to gather, guide, and reveal. The latin word for this type of sign is, “Signum”.
We believe that God is still partnering with His people to do this today, and so we are, “Signum Church: Raising a sign to point everyone home.”
The Launch.
We are currently in the early stages of launching.
Public gatherings will begin in the Spring of 2027.
We would love to keep you in the know.
The Pastors.
Hi! We’re Chris and Lindsey Baldwin. Along with our two daughters, we’re relocating from Albuquerque, New Mexico (Chris’s hometown) to Flagstaff to follow God’s call to plant a church.
We’ve spent nearly 20 years serving in full-time ministry across Texas (Lindsey’s home), Oklahoma, and New Mexico—and along the way, we’ve seen how powerfully Jesus transforms lives.
We believe our role is challenging, but simple: to help raise a clear sign that points people home to Him.
That’s why we’re building a church in Flagstaff creatively and courageously—so that anyone, from any background, can encounter God, find belonging, and discover purpose.
We’d love to meet you and hear your story!
